Although Anastasia state park brings over 12.5 million dollars to the local economy annually, cuts in state funding affect the park's ability to provide programs and services. We hope that you can help us continue to provide a positive, natural experience to local citizens and visitors by sponsoring this year's 6th annual endless summer 10k race being held on October 10, 2009
The endless summer 10k race has raised thousands of dollars for our citizen support organization, the friends of anastasia, and has attracted the attention of runners and visitors nationwide. The friends of anastasia is composed of local volunteers who work to support the preservation of the park and the educational/environmental programs presented to visitors.
